1. Booking Process
1.1 Bookings may be made through our website, email, social media platforms, WhatsApp, or telephone.
1.2 Day Trips: Full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.
1.3 Multi-Day Packages:
- A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at least 60 days prior to the tour start date.
- The remaining balance must be received no later than 30 days before departure.
1.4 Bookings made within 30 days of the tour start date require full payment at the time of booking.
1.5 Upon receipt of payment, you will receive: Booking confirmation, detailed itinerary summary, recommended packing list, tour contact information, and a Waiver and Release of Liability form (must be signed before tour commencement).
1.6 Failure to remit the balance payment within the specified timeframe may result in automatic cancellation and forfeiture of all deposits paid.
2. Payment Terms
2.1 Accepted Payment Methods:
- Bank transfer (domestic and international)
- Cash (GYD/USD)
- Credit/Debit cards (Visa, MasterCard)
- Secure online payment portal
- Mobile Money (local clients only)
2.2 All prices are quoted in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise indicated.
2.3 Bank charges, wire transfer fees, and transaction processing fees are the sole responsibility of the client.
2.4 Group bookings (five or more participants) may require staged deposits, with full balance due prior to departure.
2.5 Non-payment by the specified deadline will automatically void the booking, and all deposits will become non-refundable.
3. Cancellations and Refunds (Client-Initiated)
3.1 All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email (in**@************gy.com) or WhatsApp (+592 688-7553).
3.2 Day Trip Cancellation Policy:
- More than 6 days before tour: Full refund (minus transaction fees)
- 4–5 days before tour: 50% refund
- Less than 48 hours before tour or no-show: No refund
3.3 Multi-Day Package Cancellation Policy:
- More than 60 days before departure: Full refund (minus bank charges)
- 30–59 days before departure: 50% refund or option to reschedule (subject to availability)
- Less than 30 days before departure or no-show: No refund
3.4 Certain accommodations, lodges, airlines, and third-party service providers may have non-refundable policies. Nature Travel GY will make reasonable efforts to recover costs where possible, but cannot guarantee refunds for third-party services.
3.5 No refunds will be provided for late arrivals, voluntary early departures, missed activities, or unused services once the tour has commenced.
4. Alterations and Cancellations by Nature Travel GY
4.1 Nature Travel GY reserves the right to modify or cancel tours due to: unsafe weather, hazardous conditions, insufficient participant numbers, public health alerts, mechanical failures, or force majeure events.
4.2 In the event of company-initiated cancellation, clients will be offered: A rescheduled tour date (subject to availability), or a full refund of all payments made.
4.3 Minor itinerary modifications may occur due to operational requirements or safety considerations. Reasonable equivalent alternatives will be provided whenever possible.
4.4 Tours operate in rain or shine conditions, except when severe weather renders travel unsafe.
5. Liability and Insurance
5.1 Participation in all tours and activities is undertaken at the client’s own risk. All participants must complete and sign the Customer Waiver and Release of Liability Form prior to tour commencement.
5.2 Nature Travel GY shall not be held liable for personal injury, illness, death, loss, damage, or theft of personal property, or service failures caused by third-party providers.
5.3 Clients are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel and medical insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and adventure activities.
5.4 Nature Travel GY is not responsible for any costs incurred due to lack of adequate insurance coverage.
6. Health, Safety, and Fitness Requirements
6.1 Clients must ensure they are in adequate physical and mental health to participate in the chosen tour activities.
6.2 Participants must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, or dietary requirements at the time of booking.
6.3 It is the client’s responsibility to consult a physician regarding vaccinations, malaria prophylaxis, and fitness for specific activities.
6.4 Client Safety Obligations: Follow all safety instructions, use required safety equipment, and remain with the group during activities.
6.5 Nature Travel GY Safety Commitments: All guides are certified in First Aid and CPR. Emergency equipment and first aid kits are carried on all tours.
7. Client Conduct and Behavioral Standards
7.1 All guests are expected to demonstrate respect toward staff, fellow travelers, local communities, and the environment.
7.2 Prohibited behaviors include: Harassment, intoxication, vandalism, reckless conduct, or disregard of safety protocols. These may result in removal from the tour without refund.
7.3 Guests must comply with all applicable local laws and cultural customs.
7.4 Nature Travel GY reserves the right to refuse service to any participant whose behavior is deemed detrimental to the safety or enjoyment of others.
8. Force Majeure
8.1 Nature Travel GY shall not be held responsible for delays or cancellations resulting from events beyond our control, including natural disasters, political unrest, acts of terrorism, or government actions.
8.2 In the event of force majeure, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the tour or provide a credit voucher for future travel (valid for 12 months).
9. Marketing, Feedback, and Testimonials
9.1 Your input via Customer Feedback Forms helps us continuously improve our services.
9.2 Clients may be photographed or recorded for promotional purposes. To opt out, notify Nature Travel GY in writing prior to the tour.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
10.1 Personal information is used solely for processing bookings, communicating tour details, and emergency contact purposes.
10.3 Personal data will not be sold or shared with third parties except as necessary to fulfill tour services or as required by law.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
11.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana.
11.2 Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Guyana.
12. Acceptance of Terms
12.1 By making a booking, clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
