Nature Travel GY is a locally owned tour operator based in Mon Repos, East Coast Demerara, Guyana. Founded by Selicia Jessicia Ross, we connect travelers to the heart of Guyana and the Guianas through authentic cultural exchanges, outdoor adventures, and eco-conscious travel experiences.

Selicia Jessicia Ross
Owner & CEO
Jessica Ross, better known as “Jess” Founder and CEO of Nature Travel GY, embraces the full richness of her heritage—Indigenous, Afro-Guyanese, Indo-Guyanese, Portuguese, and Brazilian. This diverse background fuels her deep appreciation for culture, nature, and the many stories that shape Guyana’s identity.
A true adventurer at heart, Jess has spent her life exploring Guyana’s hinterland—its waterfalls, rivers, mountains, wildlife, and the communities whose traditions bring the interior to life. A self-described “water girl,” she feels most grounded in naturistic environments and has a lifelong passion for learning languages, understanding cultures, and experiencing Guyana in the most authentic way possible.
She collaborates closely with the Guyana Tourism Authority (GTA) and other national regulatory bodies to ensure every Nature Travel GY experience meets strict safety, legal, environmental, and eco-friendly guidelines. Her leadership is grounded in responsible tourism—protecting nature, preserving wildlife, and maintaining high operational standards for every guest.
Driven by innovation, she is constantly revamping outdated tours and elevating traditional experiences to match modern expectations. Whether a tour lasts two hours or two days, Jessica’s mission remains the same: create a memory, not just an activity.
Every itinerary is carefully tailored to the customer’s expressed wishes—personalized, thoughtful, and intentionally designed. She is upfront and transparent when setting expectations, ensuring travelers always know what is realistic, what is included, and what their experience will truly feel like.
